This is the well-known <\/span><b>Kona coffee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: a peculiar blend whose plant grows on the slopes of the (still active) <\/span><b>Mauna Loa volcano<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and is characterised by a medium body, an <\/span><b>intense aroma,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and a rich <\/span><b>aromatic bouquet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Vietnam<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the main production of this country is rice, <\/span><b>coffee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> takes <\/span><b>second place<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. What really makes the history of coffee in this country special, however, is the <\/span><b>prohibition to cultivate species of the Robusta quality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remaining blends, on the other hand, have given rise to some of the <\/span><b>most popular coffees in the world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, known for their sweet body characterised by a pronounced acidity. Their names are: <\/span><b>San Marcos of Tarrazu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Tres Rios, Heredia and Alajuela<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Sumatra<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Sumatra<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a paradisiacal Indonesian island known for producing two of the world&#8217;s best-known and most appreciated coffees: <\/span><b>Mandheling and Ankola<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Both dry-processed, they come from <\/span><b>plants that are cultivated and harvested by hand<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, generating a coffee with a <\/span><b>really strong taste<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to the point that it is advisable to mix it with a little milk.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Italy<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We conclude our compendium of the best-known coffee producers by also mentioning <\/span><b>Italy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where, as we already told you in the introduction, an attempt at cultivation has been made. In <\/span><b>2018<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in fact, a pioneer named <\/span><b>Rosolino Palazzolo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> started a <\/span><b>small coffee cultivation in Sicily<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, taking advantage of the favourable climate of this region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although he managed to harvest and roast a certain amount of beans, producing them on a large scale would have been unthinkable due to the <\/span><b>huge costs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Nevertheless, that first, small harvest officially marked the birth of <\/span><b><i>&#8216;made in Italy&#8217;<\/i><\/b> <b>coffee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: an event that absolutely deserved to be mentioned in our ranking.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Conclusion<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reading the names of all the exquisite blends we have mentioned, you will undoubtedly have a craving for a cup of coffee.
